Call #34 – 05/08/2024 – 3rd Alarm House Fire

63-3 Box: 3rd Alarm House Fire. At 12:12PM Hickory Corners was dispatched along with other local companies to what would become an hours-long, 3-alarm fire. 31 fire, EMS and other agencies would be on the scene, dispatched from 5 counties, bringing stations from as far away as Wiconisco and Danville to the scene off of Schwaben Creek Road. Other companies from as far away as Marysville, Perry County would be on standy in the quarters of our local fire stations. Engine 64 and Tanker 64 were dispatched and arrived with 6 members who operated on-scene for six hours. Following the call, 600 feet of hose had to be washed and packed. Two additional pieces of hose totaling 100 feet was damaged fighting the blaze. A huge thank you to the firefighters, EMS staff, dispatchers, fire police, state police and community members who answered the massive call for this blaze.
